About the poll on the BBN web site...
Charles Herrold was the first broadcaster (or one of the first), however Frank Conrad is known for first coining the term "broadcast" as it applies to the electronic media. The term broadcast also has a non-technical meaning that goes back much farther, when used to descibe spreading seeds or fertilizer.
Gahh, I love and look forward to watching BBN every 2 weeks :) Wish it was every week though. /:
By the way, what's the name of the song in the beginning of each BBN?
